Thonglor Nursery
A Noah's Journey wallpaper mural, printed to the exact size of the nursery's feature wall on Premium Vinyl, with the other three walls in Lilly & Luis Sky Wash — a PVC-free German plain in the same pale blue as the mural's water. One wall to look at, three to keep the room calm.

A nursery in a Thonglor condominium: a bright room with one wall that everything else in it points at. That wall was to be the event. The other three were to stay out of its way.
One wall, printed once, to its own measurements
The feature wall is Noah's Journey — a wooden ark of watercolour animals afloat on a pale sea, with a whale, an octopus and a narwhal below the waterline. It is custom printed wallpaper in the literal sense. The artwork is scaled to the measurements of that wall and printed once, for that room, so the ark sits where we placed it and the sun lands in the corner on purpose rather than by luck. Nothing is trimmed to fit at the ceiling.
We printed it on Premium Vinyl: a durable matt surface that wipes clean, hung with paste rather than a peel-and-stick backing. In a Bangkok bedroom that matters more than it sounds. Air conditioning cycling on and off through the night is what works at a self-adhesive edge over months, and a pasted wall has no edge for it to find. Murals are from ฿750/sqm, printed to your wall rather than to a standard panel size.
Three walls that know when to be quiet
The rest of the room is Lilly & Luis Sky Wash, No. 771785 — a watercolour plain from AS Création, printed in Germany, from ฿500/sqm. It is not a flat colour. Seen up close it has the soft mottling of a wash laid down by hand, which is why it sits beside a watercolour mural without either one arguing.
It is also the right material for a room a child sleeps in. The range is made free of PVC, solvents and plasticisers, on FSC-certified paper, with odourless inks — so the room was usable the day it was hung, with nothing to air out. The surface is spongeable, which is the only honest answer to felt-tip pens, and it strips off dry in whole lengths on the day dinosaurs replace the ark. If you would like the longer version of that argument, we wrote it up in what the label doesn't tell you about non-toxic wallpaper for a kids' room.
The join nobody notices
The quiet decision here is the colour. Sky Wash was chosen against the pale blue of the mural's water, so the eye reads the four walls as one room rather than as a feature wall and three leftovers. Turn the corner by the window and the tone carries; look back at the ark and the sea finishes the thought. That is the part of a kids' room wallpaper scheme that is easy to skip and impossible to retrofit.
